For those that need care in later life, costs can be expensive and uncertain.
To help with this growing issue, one of our insurance providers, VitalityLife have a benefit called Dementia and FrailCare Cover which is included as standard when taking out their Serious Illness Cover.
Their Dementia and FrailCare Cover can help protect their customers in the long-term if they suffer a later life condition including dementia, Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s. This cover pays out a lump sum which can be used to cover associated costs.
How it works
When the term of your Serious Illness Cover comes to an end, any remaining cover will be converted into Dementia and Frailcare Cover.
All you need to do is continue paying your premiums as normal. There’s no need to answer any new health questions and you can cancel at any time.
Claims work in the same way as their severity-based Serious Illness Cover and pay-outs will be based on the impact the condition has on your lifestyle.
